Volunteer Description: Usher

Requirements

• Dress Code: Please wear a black shirt.

Areas of Responsibility

• Seating Patrons:

  • Scan Tickets as patrons enter the auditorium

  • Know the layout – you should be able to direct patrons to the location of the bar, concession stand, water fountains, elevator, bathrooms, etc.

  • Assist in seating – The ticket will tell you what section a patron is in, and how to get there.

• Tidying: Use a sweeper or broom to tidy the floors, help sanitize hard surfaces and high-touch point areas.

Covid policies and safety procedures are updated for each event. There is a meeting in the lobby 10 minutes prior to the house opening to go over these policies and procedures.
