Drama and the arts have been important to our family, especially the development of our children. We believe the arts are integral to the quality of life and culture of our community. However, the arts can only flourish if supported by our citizens. The historical Goshen Theater is important to our town as both a way to expand the arts in our community and a significant downtown attraction. The revival of Goshen’s downtown has played a major part in our ability to attract young people to our city. The loss of the theater would be a blow to our continuing efforts to make Goshen a city where we all want to live.

For all of these reasons, I support The Next Act: Setting the Stage for Tomorrow capital campaign.

I invite everyone in our community to show their support by contributing what they can – amounts large or small – to make it happen.

Bill Johnson, Goshen Theater Honorary Campaign Chair
