Saturday, March 11, 2017, 7 – 9:30 p.m.
YOU ARE INVITED!
Join us for an evening of jazz, cocktails, history, film and an a celebratory effort to build a bright future for the creative arts in our community!
As many cities are abandoning their classic 20th century theaters, our small town in rural northern Indiana is racing to save ours. The Goshen Theater has seen fires and floods and stood the test of time but not without compromise. Without renewed life, this grandiose, irreplaceable center for the arts will be destroyed.
Time is ticking to save this cornerstone of the community and return it to its former glory.
“Admit One,” is the story of the history of this classic theater and the people trying to revive it.

Special Thanks for Making this Event Possible!
Thanks to Jabberwock for donating their talents for this premiere event!
Founded by Mike Hoover and Everett Thomas in 2010, the philanthropic quartet provides sophisticated ambience. The quartet focuses on jazz classics, blues and occasional rock’n’roll. “This is our form of volunteerism,” Thomas says. The Goshen Theater certainly appreciates your contribution!
Special Thanks to Jeffrey Marks, Media Chair of the Jeff Awards, for his presentation on Joseph Jefferson and Goshen’s connection to Chicago Theater. Jeff is not only an active trial attorney in Chicago, but has continued as a Theatre Producer, an actor, singer, dancer, musician and theatre technical director.
He also counsels and represents artists and theatres as a volunteer theatre law attorney for Lawyers for the Creative Arts (providing free legal service for all Chicago area theaters, playwrights, directors, and artists, etc.). Jeff also chairs a Fine Arts Commission, and produces and hosts a Cable TV Fine Arts series. Throughout the year he also performs with, and tours with, the timely political parody revue, The Bar Show. He is married to director Stevi Marks.
